This week, we continue our dive on Freemasonry by looking at the advanced order of the Mystic Shrine.
And you thought these guys just wore funny hats and drove small cars around at the circus. Well, this ain't your grandpa's Shrine! Actually, it may just be.

Ancient Arabic Order Of Nobles of The Mystic Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S. Initials in a different order spells, "A Mason". There are 191 Shrine Temples 1+9+1 = 11. Crowley said 11 is the number of magick, & you can do your own thinking about the September 11th connection. The first Shriner Temple organized in Sept., 1872, was named "Mecca", the "holy" city of the Muslim religion and birthplace of Muhammad. Mecca is the very center of the Islamic faith. Everyday, Muslims around the world, face towards Mecca, and bow down to pray to their idol. Each Temple or Shrine, has a "Potentate" and a "High Priest and Prophet". Shriners are sometimes referred to as thirty-second and a half degree Masons.

In June, 1986, a daily newspaper in Florida, the Orlando Sentinel reported that less than 2% of the circus money raised actually went to the hospitals and that, by 1982, the Shriners had become the richest charity in America, amassing $1.2 billion in assets. Of the $17.5 million raised in 1984, $17.3 million went into their own pockets while only $182,051 went to support the hospitals. The Shriner hospitals are a "front" appealing to compassionate hearts in order to accumulate great wealth for the Shriners themselves.

The Satanic Rituals, LaVey describes one of the rites of Lucifer, called L'Air Epais. In English, it is translated as The Ceremony of the Stifling Air. LaVey writes: "A striking American parallel to this rite is enacted within the mosques of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, an order reserved for thirty-second degree Masons.(Now Master Mason's from the Blue Lodge may join the Shrine)

Certainly we can all be thankful for such activities on behalf of these children and all needy persons. But, unfortunately, this is not the whole issue, and a number of sources have questioned the use of funds donated for such causes. The Southaven, Michigan, Daily Tribune of April 24, 1987, revealed that even though the Shrine is the richest charity in the nation, it gave its twenty-two hospitals for children less than one-third of the total amount collected from the public in 1984. The remainder was spent on travel, entertainment, fraternal ceremonies, fund-raising, food, and so on. In other words, the Shriners allegedly kept 71 percent of $21.7 million raised. Circuses sponsored by the Shrine generated $23 million in 1985, but less than 2 percent went to the medical care of children. The Orlando Sentinel, June 29, 1986, ran a special four-part series on its six month investigation into Shrine charity expenditures, confirming the above statistics through IRS records. Also in 1984, the Shrine hospitals received only 1 percent of an estimated $17.5 million collected from Shrine circuses.

Another Mason who approved of the merger (of the Bavarian Illuminati w/ Freemasonry) was Dr. Walter M. Fleming, one of the four founders of the Shrine, (Shriners) an organization that is part of the Masonic fraternity. He and three other Masons formed this organization in 1871, and he assisted in the preparation of a history of the Shrine in 1893. In that book, Dr. Fleming wrote: "Among the modern promoters of the principles of the Order [the Shrine] in Europe, one of the most noted was Herr Adam Weishaupt ... professor of law at the University of Ingolstadt, in Bavaria ... who revived the Order in that city on May 1, 1776. Its members exercised a profound influence before and during the French Revolution, when they were known as the Illuminati." Dr. Fleming, a 33rd degree Mason, was recognizing the founder of the Illuminati as a "reviver of the Order." His quote comes from a book entitled PARADE TO GLORY, written by Fred Van Deventer, which appears to be given to each new member of the Shrine.

This week is Pt. 2 of the long episode i did on Rosicrucianism, and AMORC.
Here, i focus a bit more on the origins of the invisible brotherhood as well as dive further into the practices, and rituals. I hit on a few of the more famous members as well. Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis
AMORC was founded by former Ordo Templi Orientis Grand Magus Spencer Lewis. According to author Joel Levy, Louis had been an advertising executive and he used his skills to build AMORC into an international success story opening branches in France and forging links with German societies eventually attracting over 250,000 members. He used the order's growing income to build a college, & planetarium at its headquarters in San Jose California along with a highly respected Egyptian museum that houses an important collection of ancient artifacts.
Levy goes on to say: Spencer Lewis himself built up a fascination with the lost continent of Lemuria imagined by Helena Blavatsky, & the Theosophical Society as a counterpart of Atlantis where previous races of humans had acted out millions of years of history before our own era. This led to the bazaar belief that Lemurian super beings in magically powered flying saucers lived within California's Mount Shasta and AMORC sponsored several expeditions in the area in the 1930s to hunt for secret cities below the mountain."

AMORC speaks of the seven true mystical organizations, which are all from seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Europe. The only ones of these that are still in existence are AMORC and the Freemasons. But according to AMORC, the modem Freemasons are a "sleepy organization," meaning that they are not the authentic organization they ought to be. Thus, AMORC claims to be the only true representation of a mystical organization on Earth.

There are two main sections to the study course: the neophyte and the temple sections (except for the first introductory eight lessons, each of which is titled and numbered "Mandamus").
In the beginning of the neophyte's journey, before commencing with the official monograph series, AMORC provides the new member with a set of about eight introductory papers, bound into a booklet, called a Mandamus. Inside the first Mandamus collection is another little booklet called Liber 777 (liber means "book" in Latin). This booklet contains the information about a concept called the celestial sanctum.
The other lessons throughout the sections are titled and numbered "Monographs."
The monographs, small treatises that comprise the "weekly" lessons of AMORC, are the key to AMORC's powerful indoctrination techniques. The amazing thing is that the monographs, which encourage the development of a home sanctum, a place for meditation and study, are sufficient to fully indoctrinate the majority of members.
This concept of transference can also be seen in very diverse relationships in ordinary life. A prisoner might, after a time, transfer his autonomy to a professional interrogator, a student might surrender his autonomy to a teacher, or a citizen may give up his independence to a political leader.
In the case of AMORC, through a manipulation of the student's view of the unique authority of the order, the exalted power of the imperator and the AMORC leaders, and the alleged presence of the invisible masters in the training, the monographs themselves assume a unique role.

Celestial Sanctum
Basically, AMORC claims that time does not exist for a Rosicrucian—except, of course, when your membership fee is due. In fact, time becomes so real at this point that you become very aware that if your membership commitments aren't met on time, you will be automatically cut from the egregore. Severing one's connection to the egregore, the sacred pattern of the order on other planes, may not sound so severe to an outsider, but to a Rosicrucian now dependent on the organization, this is a powerful threat. Remember that a Rosicrucian believes that his fundamental connection to God is linked to his association with the egregore of AMORC.
Many times, AMORC is a member's first pass at this type of teaching or organization. When this is the case, AMORC's claims tend to go unquestioned, especially when information coming from ordinary scientific and religious circles is subtly questioned. Since AMORC has its unique calling in the world, other Rosicrucian orders are considered to be pale imitations at best, if not outright frauds.
So by the time a neophyte begins to question AMORC, the order has created many stumbling blocks inside his mind. To question AMORC's authority becomes dangerous and even treasonous. The initiate looks at AMORC as the only source of this supersensible knowledge. AMORC tells their initiates that these great developments can be obtained only with the genuine Rosicrucian teaching.

In order to create a compliant and highly suggestible membership, certain elements of indoctrination need to be set into place. One of them is "loaded language," in which cult members use special words like Cosmic (instead of God) to give a certain flavor to the cult language. Loading the language. As members continue to formulate their ideas in the group's jargon, this language serves the purpose of constricting members' thinking and shutting down critical thinking abilities. At first, translating from their native tongue into "groupspeak" forces members to censor, edit, and slow down spontaneous bursts of criticism or oppositional ideas. That helps them to cut off and contain negative or resistive feelings. Eventually, speaking in cult jargon is second nature, and talking with outsiders becomes energy-consuming and awkward. Soon enough, members find it most comfortable to talk only among themselves in the new vocabulary. To reinforce this, all kinds of derogatory names are given to outsiders: wogs, systemites, reactionairies, unclean, or Satan.
Members are made to feel part of an elite corps of mankind. This feeling of being special, of participating in the most important acts in human history with a vanguard of committed believers, is strong emotional glue to keep people sacrificing and working hard.

AMORC affirms that the world as we know it is nonexistent. It all only exists in our own mind. Our vocabulary and use of words do not convey the real nature of things. This is soon followed by the assertion that "It is possible to modify the manifestation of matter." Here AMORC lays the foundation to instill in members the belief that they, the select people of this Earth, can change everything.
It contends, using its "centuries-old wisdom" card, that "science has finally localized the different zones of the brain, but the Rosicrucians knew since antiquity about such things." It promises that in the future, when the member gets to the sixth temple degree, previous knowledge about health from antiquity will be passed on to the member to help treat a great number of sicknesses.
By affirming reasonableness and freedom, AMORC creates a psychological vulnerability in the minds of their students. Their minds are now completely open to the so-called enlightened Rosicrucian methods. In most cults, there is a strong, seemingly rational foundation laid during the early indoctrination phase. One interesting concept, brought out in this monograph, is the assertion that Rosicrucians have no actual right to property. Anything that a member possesses really belongs to the Cosmic.

AMORC then tells its members how to prepare themselves for sleep. The goal is to go to sleep in a meditative state. This is accomplished by the member initially lying on his back, face up, with his hands on the solar plexus. Now, even in their sleep, members can do Rosicrucian exercises.

The exercise that follows uses "negative breathing," a technique that is the opposite of "positive breathing." In positive breathing, you in hale and hold the breath for as long as possible; in negative breathing, you exhale, attempting to not inhale for as long as possible.
Holding the right thumb between thumb and index of the left hand, the neophyte is asked to practice negative breathing and observe the effect on the right arm. The neophyte is warned to make sure to practice this exercise for two or three minutes.

AMORC classifies illnesses into two categories: illnesses with a fever and illnesses without a fever. As this classification leads to a choice of treatment, when a member experiences an illness, he must first check to see whether he has a fever.
In Rosicrucian therapy, someone who has a fever, no matter what the cause of the illness, is evincing a need for negative energy. In this case, you need to use a negative breathing treatment. If the illness comes without a fever, default to a positive treatment.

This week we continue the Illuminated Institutions series, and take a look at the Rosicrucian group AMORC as well as some key Rosicrucian beliefs, and practices.
I delve into the writings a former long time member, and see what he has to say, and discuss how currently he, and his books are nearly impossible to find. So without hesitation, let's get on down that rabbit hole, far beyond the mainstream as peel off the petals one by one of the Brotherhood of The Rosy Cross, shall we?

Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis
AMORC was founded by former Ordo Templi Orientis Grand Magus Spencer Lewis. According to author Joel Levy, Louis had been an advertising executive and he used his skills to build AMORC into an international success story opening branches in France and forging links with German societies eventually attracting over 250,000 members. He used the order's growing income to build a college, & planetarium at its headquarters in San Jose California along with a highly respected Egyptian museum that houses an important collection of ancient artifacts.
Levy goes on to say: Spencer Lewis himself built up a fascination with the lost continent of Lemuria imagined by Helena Blavatsky, & the Theosophical Society as a counterpart of Atlantis where previous races of humans had acted out millions of years of history before our own era. This led to the bazaar belief that Lemurian super beings in magically powered flying saucers lived within California's Mount Shasta and AMORC sponsored several expeditions in the area in the 1930s to hunt for secret cities below the mountain."

AMORC speaks of the seven true mystical organizations, which are all from seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Europe. The only ones of these that are still in existence are AMORC and the Freemasons. But according to AMORC, the modem Freemasons are a "sleepy organization," meaning that they are not the authentic organization they ought to be. Thus, AMORC claims to be the only true representation of a mystical organization on Earth.

There are two main sections to the study course: the neophyte and the temple sections (except for the first introductory eight lessons, each of which is titled and numbered "Mandamus").
In the beginning of the neophyte's journey, before commencing with the official monograph series, AMORC provides the new member with a set of about eight introductory papers, bound into a booklet, called a Mandamus. Inside the first Mandamus collection is another little booklet called Liber 777 (liber means "book" in Latin). This booklet contains the information about a concept called the celestial sanctum.
The other lessons throughout the sections are titled and numbered "Monographs."
The monographs, small treatises that comprise the "weekly" lessons of AMORC, are the key to AMORC's powerful indoctrination techniques. The amazing thing is that the monographs, which encourage the development of a home sanctum, a place for meditation and study, are sufficient to fully indoctrinate the majority of members.
This concept of transference can also be seen in very diverse relationships in ordinary life. A prisoner might, after a time, transfer his autonomy to a professional interrogator, a student might surrender his autonomy to a teacher, or a citizen may give up his independence to a political leader.
In the case of AMORC, through a manipulation of the student's view of the unique authority of the order, the exalted power of the imperator and the AMORC leaders, and the alleged presence of the invisible masters in the training, the monographs themselves assume a unique role.

Higher initiates are not supposed to tell lower initiates about experiments or what they are studying.
Celestial Sanctum
Basically, AMORC claims that time does not exist for a Rosicrucian—except, of course, when your membership fee is due. In fact, time becomes so real at this point that you become very aware that if your membership commitments aren't met on time, you will be automatically cut from the egregore. Severing one's connection to the egregore, the sacred pattern of the order on other planes, may not sound so severe to an outsider, but to a Rosicrucian now dependent on the organization, this is a powerful threat. Remember that a Rosicrucian believes that his fundamental connection to God is linked to his association with the egregore of AMORC.
Many times, AMORC is a member's first pass at this type of teaching or organization. When this is the case, AMORC's claims tend to go unquestioned, especially when information coming from ordinary scientific and religious circles is subtly questioned. Since AMORC has its unique calling in the world, other Rosicrucian orders are considered to be pale imitations at best, if not outright frauds.
So by the time a neophyte begins to question AMORC, the order has created many stumbling blocks inside his mind. To question AMORC's authority becomes dangerous and even treasonous. The initiate looks at AMORC as the only source of this supersensible knowledge. AMORC tells their initiates that these great developments can be obtained only with the genuine Rosicrucian teaching.

Pierre says he first witnessed a human aura when he was in the Social Security office and it disturbed him because he did not want to see that.
In order to create a compliant and highly suggestible membership, certain elements of indoctrination need to be set into place. One of them is "loaded language," in which cult members use special words like Cosmic (instead of God) to give a certain flavor to the cult language. Loading the language. As members continue to formulate their ideas in the group's jargon, this language serves the purpose of constricting members' thinking and shutting down critical thinking abilities. At first, translating from their native tongue into "groupspeak" forces members to censor, edit, and slow down spontaneous bursts of criticism or oppositional ideas. That helps them to cut off and contain negative or resistive feelings. Eventually, speaking in cult jargon is second nature, and talking with outsiders becomes energy-consuming and awkward. Soon enough, members find it most comfortable to talk only among themselves in the new vocabulary. To reinforce this, all kinds of derogatory names are given to outsiders: wogs, systemites, reactionairies, unclean, or Satan.
Members are made to feel part of an elite corps of mankind. This feeling of being special, of participating in the most important acts in human history with a vanguard of committed believers, is strong emotional glue to keep people sacrificing and working hard.

AMORC affirms that the world as we know it is nonexistent. It all only exists in our own mind. Our vocabulary and use of words do not convey the real nature of things. This is soon followed by the assertion that "It is possible to modify the manifestation of matter." Here AMORC lays the foundation to instill in members the belief that they, the select people of this Earth, can change everything.
It contends, using its "centuries-old wisdom" card, that "science has finally localized the different zones of the brain, but the Rosicrucians knew since antiquity about such things." It promises that in the future, when the member gets to the sixth temple degree, previous knowledge about health from antiquity will be passed on to the member to helptreat agreat number of sicknesses.
By affirming reasonableness and freedom, AMORC creates a psychological vulnerability in the minds of their students. Their minds are now completely open to the so-called enlightened Rosicrucian methods. In most cults, there is a strong, seemingly rational foundation laid during the early indoctrination phase. One interesting concept, brought out in this monograph, is the assertion that Rosicrucians have no actual right to property. Anything that a member possesses really belongs to the Cosmic.

This week i dive into the sordid history of Col. Michael Aquino, and the Temple of Set. His name goes round in conspiracy circles quite a bit, but let's see if we can go a little further as we dive deep down the rabbit hole, far beyond the mainstream! Cheers, and Blessings Ipsissimus Michael Aquino - Founder Temple of Set, Grand Master Emeritus of the Order of the Trapezoid, Temple of Set. In 1975 Michael Aquino was given an Infernal mandate by the Prince of Darkness which resulted in the founding of the Temple of Set and the re-consecration of the Setian Priesthood. In 1968 while serving or the 306th Psychological Operations Battalion at Fort MacArthur in California, during the Vietnam War, He Joined Satanic Church after meeting Lavey at theatre showing of Rosemary's Baby• He became a Satanic priest, & worked closely with the Lavey's for over 10 years. He started having disagreements with the way Lavey was portraying Satan and how he was running the church. Michael did not approve of the hokey B-movie imagery and wanted the church to be more serious. Lavey had became a recluse and would only speak in front of the Adepts of the congregation. He changed the way members worked there way up the degrees, & it became a for profit system where the Lavey's would take money, property, and gifts in exchange for adepthood. Michael decided to consult Satan on the issue. On June 21st 1975 as the clock struck midnight at his home in Santa Barbara he did a magical working, & spent 4 hours writing his book that would become the manual for the Temple of Set called, "Coming Forth By Night." He believed that Satan had passed the torch of early representative from Lavey to himself. (Æon of Set) Set- Upon the ninth Solstice, therefore, I destroyed my pact with Anton Szandor LaVey, and I raised him to the Will of a Daimon, unbounded by the material dimensions. And so I thought to honor him beyond other men. But it may have been this act of mine that ordained his fall. Set- The Satanist thought to approach Satan through ritual. Now let the Setian shun all recitation, for the text of another is an affront to the Self. Speak rather to me as to a friend, gently and without fear, and I shall hear as a friend. In The New Satanists book by Linda Blood, who was a mistress of Aquino she says they wrote letters to one another, & eventually she was able to meet him at a Temple of Set convention. A few weeks later they began having an affair. She joined the Temple, & began learning the rites, & ceremonies. She discovered that a Aquino had a fascination with Nazi memorabilia, the Thule, and Vril society and especially Himmler's occult operations. The Setian concept of good and evil is based on the idea that whatever is good for one individual may well be considered evil by someone else, and who is to say who is right and who is wrong? Aquino cautions his followers that "profane" society will tolerate them only if they are "perceived" to be ethical people. So, when he got back he told his adept cult members that he'd received a vision of a new symbol for his reinvigorated Order of the Trapezoid. They told her to drop the case or else, & dropped her back off in a parking lot. Other attorneys were also harassed, & threatened. Rudolph Giuliani, then United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, noted that "there were indications that some children may have been abused at the West Point Child Development Center," and recommended that the Point provide them with therapy.
